You were called to be free I don’t know what that means But I like the sound These lies I’ve held so long Can’t imagine with them gone But you said the word Freedom train Rolling on It’s been rolling for so long and I I want to ride I’m so tired of this game I try to prove myself over again I always miss the mark It’s for all us weak but we must be strong Just to hold on Give me strength to stand But in love there is no fear Oh, can you hear Freedom train Rolling on It’s been rolling for so long and I I want to ride Freedom train Rolling home I don’t even know where it’s going but I know I trust the driver You were called to be free It’s so hard to believe It’s been so long And look at all of all this mess Its bigger than all of us Tell me where do we begin But in love there is no fear Oh Lord, hear my prayer Freedom train Rolling on It’s been rolling for so long and I I want to ride Freedom train Rolling home I don’t even know where it’s going but I know I trust the driver

Gulaga 03:39
There’s things the road will show you, if you travel slow My mind it starts to wander on the stories these things know There’s coffee cups and crosses, a land that bears a scar Black gum trees silent witness to the way things are On Gulaga the water just flows out the mountainside When I left my Mum said, ‘Seek and you will find’ But what if all I ever needed was what I left behind? I went up the sacred mountain with my aching bones My eyes fixed on the path to keep from tripping on the stones Then Lionel and Mary in Bodalla town Made me stop and think on Country with their painted Koori flag On Gulaga the water just flows out the mountainside When I left my mum said seek and you will find But what if all I ever needed was what I left behind? L-plates, garden gloves, a bottle of Dare I pick them up as I go past, still looking for something else out there Oh Gulaga your water just flows out your mountainside And I hear my mothers voice say ‘Seek and you will find’ Can I carry all this with me back to what I left behind?

Revolution 03:40
Magpie tapping at my window pane, gold light kiss my cheek Sky turn pink, my eyes drink deep blue Bemboka Peak Put the kettle on, I’ve just done another lap round the sun And we’re still spinning and I find myself standing on Yuin Nation And every day is a Revolution Growing up my Mum never told many stories about back when she was young And my Dad never said much about the homelands where we came from But 100k is all it takes, straight up to the Karman Line I hit the stratosphere and I start to get clear on where I belong And every day is a Revolution Feel my toes in the wet kykuya, hang my clothes on the hills hoist line Been reading the letters of my great grand father, is it such a different time? There are words I find hard to say, let alone put in a song I still close my eyes to genocide and colonisation But every day is a Revolution People been trekking to the big red rock speaking for Sovereign Nations Talking ‘bout getting a few things sorted with our constitution They’re speaking truth, speaking love, crying freedom So we can all live from the heart proudly beneath the southern sun And every day is a Revolution Every day is a Revolution

Like A Girl 04:39
Your Mum’s packed up and left us, he told her over breakfast He packed a vegemite sandwich and he brushed her hair The bus went past at 8:40, and he said I’ll drive you He sat right there beside her, but he didn’t catch her eye He said Don’t cry little girl, our world might fall apart Go and run little girl, it still pumps blood a broken heart You can’t fight this little girl, just do what must be done And find your smile little girl, there’s good things yet to come She threw her bag over her shoulder, it was heavy and she felt older Still she ran out just like always on the oval with the boys But with footy season starting, they were set on training And they send Billy over to tell her, it was only for the boys He said don’t cry like a girl, girls always fall apart You know you run like a girl, and coach says girls aren’t as fast We can’t fight this little girl, it’s just how things are done But you should smile, little girl, you’re as pretty as they come At her 21st she met him, and she remembers how he smiled then As she makes the kids their dinner and he cracks a tinny on the porch And the kids’d tell her their worries, and she’d think of her mother And wonder how much weight one woman can carry on her own And she would cry like a girl in the quiet of the night And feel like running away into the dawning light And she’d fight it like a girl and wonder where she went wrong Then she’d get up and smile for the little ones She never gave up her dreaming, through the nappies, bikes and bandaids And her friends, and the tears she cried gave her strength to carry on And with footy season starting, she took up coaching She said ‘everybody’s welcome, I will turn no-one away’ And she would cry ‘Go Girl – catch a speccy mark’ Go and run like a girl, show them that means real damn fast Keep on fighting like a girl, don’t ever loose that spark There’s a woman in every girl, with the bravest of hearts You know who you are Show us what it means to be like a girl

I never meant to break your heart, but I break it over and over There are times when I wanted to leave, but I’m glad I still have your shoulder to cry on You were brave enough to stand by me when I was blinded and angry They say love can make the blind man see, I know it’s true, it happened to me You make me like water, make me like clay Love will always change me You make me like sunshine, shine like day Like the desert after rain Love is gonna make me change Little one, where has our day gone From the first bird singing til the lullaby song You close your eyes and I whisper sorry, for all I’ve done for want of better knowing All around this worlds going crazy and I’ve been feeling a little low lately But I can find some hope to hold onto, anytime that I look at you You make me like water, make me like clay Love will always change me You make me like sunshine, shine like day Like the desert after rain Love is gonna make me change I’ve seen the river at dawn shine and shimmer, so clear it reminds me of a mirror It can feel like dying to see, those parts that aren’t so shiny in me But maybe love doesn’t always feel right, maybe kindness is not always right I just pray that you’ll pull me through, til the heart of me is the heart of you And make me like water, make me like clay Love will always change me You make me like sunshine, shine like day Like the desert after rain And make me like water, make me like clay Love will always change me You make me like sunshine, shine like day Like the desert after rain Love is gonna make me change Love is gonna make me change

Milk & Honey 03:16
Living in the land of milk & honey Thread the camel through the needles eye Thread the camel through the needles eye Someone told me there are stories here running Deep in the soil & sky Deep in the soil & sky Someone told me there’s been blood here running Could I turn my eye? Could I turn my eye? Stories in these rivers and these sunburnt plains Beauty & terror & flooding rains If I’m living in the moment can I turn back Can I look at this horizon & think about that? If someone told me there was rain coming Would I build an ark? Would I build an ark? If someone told me there were dark times coming Could I hold it with a light in my heart? Could I hold it with a light in my heart? If someone gave me sackcloth and ashes Would I play my part? Would I play my part? Stories in these rivers and these sunburnt plains Beauty & terror & flooding rains If I’m living in the moment can I turn back Can I look at this horizon & think about that? I’m living in the land of milk & honey Thread the camel through the needles eye Thread the camel through the needles eye Living in the land of milk & honey Thread the camel through the needles eye Thread the camel through the needles eye Someone told me there are stories here running Deep in the soil & sky Deep in the soil & sky

Searching 02:58
I’m going searching, I’m going searching See what I can find, see what I can find Got a couple questions, weighing on my mind I’ll see what I can find, see what I can find Oo ooo oo… Lots of people saying, there’s only one way I’ll keep an open mind, keep an open mind Lot’s of people saying, only foolish pray I’ll keep an open mind, keep an open mind Oo ooo oo… Gonna take a shovel, digging in the dark That is where I’ll start, that is where I’ll start might be one or two things I need to pull apart that is where I’ll start, that is where I’ll start shine a little light, let love leave its mark that is where I’ll start, that is where I’ll start It is not a small thing to excavate the heart That is where I’ll start, that is where I’ll start Oo ooo oo… I’m going searching, I’m going searching See what I can find, see what I can find It is not a small thing to excavate the heart That is where I’ll start, that is where I’ll start

Fog lights on, it’s a misty Monday morning You’re at home, you put the coffee on Five years and you forgot to tell me You accidentally fell into her arms Do you even know what you’ve got Do you even know? And you tell me, she’s actually a really nice girl Well I’m confused but not about that What you saw in her is easy to see Is it not enough, what you’ve got in me? It’s hard to even know what I’ve got, It’s hard to even know Can you even tell me? Do you even know? I read the signs, they say 30k’s to Eden With a foggy mind, does it help to have a destination? I could leave, saying I won’t take this hurting Or I could stay, is that the hard or the easy way? I don’t even know what we’ve got, I don’t even know I don’t even know what we’ve got, Do you even know? Can you even tell me? Do you even know? I don’t even know what we’ve got Do you even know?

Umbrella 03:59
Woke up this morning to a pitter patter sound Pulled back the curtains and saw that the rain was falling down And I said ‘my oh my, what a day for my umbrella oooo’ When I woke yesterday I heard the birds singing sweet and low I looked outside and the my heart skipped a beat coz oh it’s the perfect day, for my parasol Some days are only overcast oh what a tease And blustery or windy days will never find me pleased But I woke up this morning to a pitter patter sound Pulled back the curtains and saw that the rain was falling down And I said ‘my oh my, what a day for my umbrella oooo’ Some days are only overcast oh what a tease And blustery or windy days will never find me pleased But I woke up this morning to a pitter patter sound Pulled back the curtains and I saw the rain was falling down And I said My oh my, my umbrella oooo

Buckle Up 04:35
You’re gonna see me fly and think that I’ve got everything that’s passed you by Like everything I’ve got just falls into my lap coz its easy just like that, for some You’re gonna see me fall and thank your lucky stars you’re not like me at all And it’s clear that it is my weakness that’s to blame, there’s so much to be ashamed of, for some I’m gonna buckle up, take that ride Take the rocky road to the other side Whatever you think, I’ll let it lie Put my work boots on, I’ll live and learn Stoke the fire even if I get burned I’m stepping up, it’s my turn You’re gonna see me fight Call me a hypocrite because I’ve got no right I’m no angel but you see me reach for something higher That’s just playing with fire, for some And you’re gonna see me fold Congratulate yourself coz you’ve got more backbone You’ve never had to give up on all that you believe in Or question all your dreaming, so far I’m gonna buckle up, take that ride Take the rocky road to the other side Whatever you think, I’ll let it lie Put my work boots on, I’ll live and learn Stoke the fire even if I get burned I’m stepping up, it’s my turn You’re gonna see me stand And think that you would too if they just gave you a chance But this mountain that I stand on is just mistakes that I have made And I’m ready to face the shame still to come When I buckle up, take that ride Take the rocky road to the other side Whatever you think C’mon buckle up, let’s take that ride This rocky road’s better with you by my side Whatever they think, let it lie Put work boots on, live and learn Stoke the fire even if we get burned C’mon step up, it’s our turn You’re gonna see me fly You’re gonna see me fly
